This model for accounting and business advisory firms is now widelyaccepted nationwide, but in the 1990s it was a bright idea waiting forits time to come. That opportunity came in 1997, when regulatory changes in the accounting and financial services industries permitted Certified Public Accountants the opportunity to provide financial services otherthan traditional accounting, tax and business consulting services. Withthis vision in mind, in 1999 three Philadelphia-based organizationsconsisting of seven entrepreneurial partners merged together to formwhat is now St. Clair CPA Solutions.
